Sample Weight: 2.00 g
Base metal elements are determined in rocks and minerals by wavelength dispersive x-ray fluorescence spectrometry (WDXRF). Samples are fused with lithium borate and fused into a glass disk. The disk is then analyzed by WDXRF.
|Element||Concentration (low)||Concentration (high)|
Data will be deemed acceptable if recovery of each element is ±5% at five times the Lower Limit of Determination (LOD) and the calculated percent Relative Standard Deviation (RSD) of duplicate samples is no greater than 5%.
