Statement of work:
1. Develop a GIS-based geologic and landscape layer spatial database to be used to develop a geohydrologic framework for contaminant evaluation in aquifer systems.
1A. Describe and document the geographic extent and character of geologic and lithogeochemical features for the New England Crystalline aquifer.
2. Identify previous contaminant studies in the region and document important controlling variables. Begin the collection and evaluation of NAWQA and individual New England State Compliance data on ground water quality.
3. Begin the evaluation of the occurrence and distribution of natural and anthropogenic drinking-water contaminants in terms of the geohydrologic framework variables.
