Ph.D. Geology, Geophysics; University of Oregon, 1976
Experience
I have done comprehensive interpretation of geologic and geophysical data and have been involved in scientific program design for minerals-related programs. I have done gravity, magnetic, and geologic mapping, as well as GIS and spatial data analysis; and I have developed new potential field data interpretation methods.
Current Activities
My current research areas are geophysical potential field data interpretation techniques, including the use of fractal measures; complex systems model approaches to mineral resource problems; and subsurface mapping of lithology using geophysical data. I am involved with geophysical components of the southwestern United States resource studies and geophysical signatures of mineralized systems.
