The Federal Depository Library Program provides Government publications to designated public and academic libraries throughout the United States. All depository libraries have Government information. Most collections are tailored to meet local community needs and interests. Regional libraries receive and retain at least one copy of nearly every Federal Government Publication, in either printed or microfilm form, for use by the general public.
