Subtask Objectives

The goal will be to produce a prototype mineral environmental assessment methodology for a large regional area, and to then test the methodology using targeted field studies. The methodology will also be reviewed from a policy perspective.

Statement of Work

This task will work toward compilation of databases, GIS coverages, and other information that are appropriate for the large regional scale, and will develop and test appropriate derviative products that can be used for mienral-environemtnal assessment and other purposes (examples of possible derivative products include waterhsed carrying capacity maps, various environmental lithology maps, pre-human-disturbance baselin maps, current environmental baseline maps).
