Information collected about a mining property under the various programs was compiled into dockets. A Docket is a uniquely numbered collection of material (application, contract, correspondence, maps, reports, results) about a property for which an individual/company applied for exploration assistance from the Federal Government.

The map below depicts the number of dockets per County in the U.S. There are dockets for properties in 44 of the 50 States, with the majority of site locations in one of the 11 western States. To browse those dockets select a western State below, dockets found in other States can be viewed by selecting the docket links menu above and then "All by State."
